“Dantai Yu Case”, a comprehensive medical book, 6 volumes. Written by Sun Wenyin (Weifu, Zaigong) in the Ming Dynasty, it was completed in the ninth year of Chongzhen (1636). Based on the author’s daily treatment experience, this book describes 75 diseases and syndromes mainly including internal medicine miscellaneous diseases, pulse shape, visceral image diagrams, and medicinal treatment methods for each viscera. Volume 1 discusses pulse mirror diagnosis at the beginning, and then lists 16 items of health care regimen, followed by illustrations of viscera and medicine treatment for each viscera. Volumes 2 to 6 introduce various diseases and syndromes of typhoid fever, febrile disease, plague, miscellaneous diseases, women, children, facial features, and surgery. Discuss one by one according to the order of cause, syndrome, pulse and treatment. Its appendix is extensive, and its description is more specific.

Sun Wenyin, a physician in the Ming Dynasty, was born in Xiuning, Anhui. The word Weifu, the name is Zaikong.
