Introduction

The line of measuring characters was created in the Zhou Dynasty and prevailed in the Tang and Song Dynasties. For example, Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng are both famous for their xiangzi fulfillment, and they were known by Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty. Xie Shi, Shao Kangjie, etc., were highly valued and promoted by Emperor Song because of the cleverness of the test machine. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the test character was replaced by divination and drawing posts, and it was believed that it “covered the soul and blocked the change of the machine” and then declined. Although Cezi belongs to the small plan of carving insects and the last part of a hundred lines, there are also several schools in it.
