Brief introduction of the author

Chen Xiyi (?-989), named Tuan, styled Tunan, self-named Fuyaozi, was born in Bozhou, Anhui, and was a famous Taoist hermit in the early Song Dynasty. He is a legendary figure. He unified Laozhuang, Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoist alchemy, and had a huge influence on Yi Xue, Song Dynasties, and Chinese culture. Later generations called him “Chen Tuan Patriarch”. “Heluo True Number” was created by him and passed on to the world by his disciple Shao Yong.
