Brief introduction of the author

Yu Chuntai, a person in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, was keen on poetry, literature, and numerology. A friend recommended “Lanjiang Net” to him, and suggested that he write an annotation for this book, to fill a gap in Ziping’s numerology in the theory of “modulation”. After reviewing it, he found that the book was elaborate and well-chosen, so he spent his whole life studying it repeatedly, devoted himself to digging out its profound meaning, and compiled it carefully, deleting the complicated and simplifying it, compiled it into a book, and renamed it “Qingtong Baojian”. This book discards the dross and selects the essential, concise and clear, well-organized and orderly. During the period of the Republic of China, this book was annotated by Xu Lewu. He combined his actual combat experience with the law of fate, and added annotations. The logic is clear and the philosophy is strong, which has a profound influence on later generations of numerology.
