Brief introduction to the author

Guo Zaiyu, courtesy name Yuqing, was born in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, and promoted officials for Huaiqing Mansion (now Qinyang, Henan). In the process of editing this book, he “almost exhausted his painstaking effort”, and “there has never been such a thorough researcher” on the study of Ren Shu.
