About the author

Lu Zhiji was born in Shanghai in 1949. In 1981, he received a master’s degree from the Chinese Department of Fudan University in Shanghai. In 1991, he received his Ph.D. from the Department of Linguistics, University of Illinois, USA. Published works include “Introduction to Computational Linguistics”, “Computational Linguistics”, “Exploration of Quantitative Research on Chinese Dialects”, “New Theory of Bazi Numerology”, “Bazi and Chinese Wisdom” (updated version of “New Theory of Bazi Numerology”), etc. And published more than 20 linguistics papers in Chinese and foreign academic journals.
