This article focuses on how a practitioner should actually practice mindfulness. In fact, I have already talked about it before, but many practitioners have not realized it and asked me how to cultivate the mind. Therefore, I am writing this article to help you on your path of cultivation. The realm of mind cultivation is divided into:

The three parts of the method are: enlightenment, precepts, and practice, and the three parts of the method are considered to be the true practice of mindfulness. The following is an explanation of each:

Enlightenment: enlightenment of the mind. It is also the method used by most practitioners nowadays. Simply put, it is through reading sage books, Buddhist scriptures, Taoist scriptures, etc. For the method of improving the state of mind by reading for enlightenment.

Precepts: precepts. Many practitioners don\’t know exactly how to cultivate the mind. I will answer you today: if you only understand the state of mind and don\’t keep the precepts, you are not really cultivating the mind, and keeping the precepts is the way to cultivate the present. For example, you have read a lot of books and understood a lot of truths, but you have not followed them at all, just on paper. If you can\’t even keep the precepts well, how can you talk about cultivating your mind? So simply put, keeping the precepts is actually a current method of cultivating the mind. The more you keep those precepts, the better your mind will be, and the greater your future Dharma and blessings will be.

Actions: Performing merit and virtue. It can also be understood as one own actions, precepts to repair the present, merit and virtue to return the cause of karma, doing merit and virtue is also the practice of mindfulness.

A disciple of the Heavenly Way told me in the previous paragraph, \”He doesn\’t know what is going on in this period, whenever he practices, he feels dizzy and his soul seems to be unable to command his body. Asked me why this is?\” I then asked him: Have you done any merit after practicing the Heavenly Way of Holiness? He said no, but he was able to practice seriously and on time every day, and he felt good at first, but then it became worse every day. \”I asked him if you have ever thought about why some people practice the same Dharma and feel fine and progress, but others practice more and more regression\” He said he had not considered this matter. Because the lower part of the cultivation even after the theft of heaven, so then you have to use merit to pay back the karma of your past life and present life. Many people may not understand the meaning of merit: doing merit is the method that can purify your soul purity to the greatest extent inside all Dharma disciplines. You may think what does purity of soul have to do with practice? Then let me tell you again: when we practice, we use the soul as the carrier of our intention, and the intention is actually the soul power that joins the mind. The more turbid the soul is, the less it can withstand the higher yuan qi and rootless fire. If the soul is not pure cultivator strong to absorb, then the light will be like the disciple above the same situation. The first layer is the simplest and least dangerous, if you say you cultivate to the top of the five elements realm, if you do not do enough merit to return the previous karma, to purify their souls, only on the cultivation of words. The final result may not be as good as being an ordinary person, mortals may be able to reincarnate a few more lives, the final result of practitioners do not do merit and virtue is the soul is extinguished into basic energy, there is no longer you the true spirit. So I told this disciple to stop cultivating and do what merit he could, because the fruit of his claim to the heavenly dao had begun to exceed the good cause he had accumulated. Of course there is another situation where the innate dao foundation is not good, causing obstacles to cultivation, and this situation is actually still caused by insufficient merit and virtue. To do merit is to cultivate the heart, cultivate the heart is to cultivate the soul, the soul is the root of cultivation. These are closely related.

In addition, many practitioners ask me how to make merit. Generally, we divide merit making into two types. For example, if you see someone in trouble, you can help them at that time; if you see an animal that is going to be killed, you can buy it and release it if you have the conditions, this is the kind of merit that you can do when you encounter it. The second kind of merit is the current merit, which is the merit to be done actively when there are conditions. For example, the three major virtues of the present life, which are mentioned in the general outline of the law, can be done according to your actual situation. Practitioners need to: practice the Dharma and mind internally, and practice the precepts and virtues externally. The way to the true Dharma is to have both internal and external practices. The three items mentioned above together are the true practice of mindfulness. Enlighten the mind, keep the precepts, and perform merit and virtue. The better and more you do, the longer the path of cultivation and the greater the chance of entering the true Dharma. I hope that each practitioner will think about it, and if they do not listen to the teachings, they will regret it in the future. Heaven way of cause and effect, self-made and self-retained.

Now many people ask me, \”How can I judge the truth and falsehood of the many practices that are taught in the world? First of all, there is a criterion for judging true and false, as long as the Dharma that contains the attributes of light is the true Dharma. False law, evil law, etc. all contain the attributes of darkness. Then again, it is not right to ask the high and low itself, the true law is not high and low. For example, some chanting Buddhism, some enlightenment, some practice Dan, some practice Qi, and so on. In fact, which method you can fix, and eventually can become the right result. You can only say which method is more suitable for you. Just like work, some people like this kind of work, some people feel more comfortable doing that kind of work. Some people can\’t sit in meditation, but the chanting of Buddhism can last a long time, and some people always have delusional thoughts when chanting Buddhism, but the practice can really persist. The Way of Heaven is the path of self-cultivation, with the deepening of cultivation to naturally enhance the realm. For example, it is possible to have sexual intercourse between husband and wife, but evil sexual intercourse is definitely not allowed, slowly as the realm improves, the desire is getting lower and lower, and finally naturally put down. Another example is eating meat, in the future into the body of the Yuan Ling natural will not eat. The flesh has all kinds of inevitable ties, many people simply can not let go of everything, so empty is not empty. The law of the heavenly way is to follow its nature, and there is a shortcut path to repair.

The law of cause and effect:

What is eliminated by merit is the cause of the former, and what is cultivated by precepts is the result of the future.

The cause is what has happened, and the effect is what has not yet happened.

Without cultivating mindfulness and merit, even the best Dharma will become bad. The Infinite Master of Heaven☆ Star Daozi
