Preface

Measuring characters, or broken characters, phase characters, and split characters, is a unique social custom and cultural phenomenon in the Han cultural circle, and it should have its own garden in the garden of humanities. In the opinion of the author, there has not been a book dedicated to measuring characters in China. Under such conditions, choosing this topic as an article seems a bit overwhelming. When the author set foot in it, I already felt how weird, confusing and chaotic this mysterious field is, so I repeatedly had the idea of “three times, five times, two times” to get rid of this chicken rib. However, simply branding Chinese characters as “superstition” cannot make people who are addicted to it go astray, nor can it scientifically clean up the complex system of Chinese characters. Every time I think about this, the author falls into a situation where I can’t stop, so I have to do my best. When writing this series of books, under the encouragement and supervision of my friends, this booklet was finally completed. The author’s knowledge is poor, and the mistakes in the book are unavoidable, and I pray that Fang’s family education will be correct. The author would be overjoyed if this book can be persisted by colleagues and help Xuelin’s new book.
