Introduction

“Flying Star Ziwei. Doushu” was written by Chen Tuan, the founder of Taoism, Fuyaozi. It is easy to learn and has a high rate of fulfillment, so it is cherished by scholars and fortune-tellers. However, because of this and the succession of teachers and keeping secrets, it is adulterated to hide the truth and distort the true biography. It is a pity for the later learners. Fortunately, I have learned of the authentic copy of “Flying Star Ziwei Doushu” newly engraved in Lianyuan Pavilion in the sixth year of Xianfeng (that is, 1856). The book “Flying Star Ziwei Doushu” consists of six volumes. The first discusses basic theories, such as horoscopes, six relatives, fleeting years, and safety, followed by house positions and flying stars. The latter lists ancient and modern fates, and attaches modern examples, from theory to practice, systematic and comprehensive, and highly operable.
