Introduction

“Yisi Zhan” is also known as “Yisi Zhan Ruilu” or “Yisi Zhan Ruilu” “Astronomical Yisi Zhan” is one of the earliest comprehensive astrology books in ancient China. It is called “Astronomical Yisi Zhan” in Tang Zhi, and “Suichutang Bibliography” is “Yisi Zhan Ruilu”. The various entries of dozens of astrology books before the Southern and Northern Dynasties, such as Gan De, Shi Shenfu, Wu Xian, and Huangdi, were compiled into this collection. Author Li Chunfeng. Because there is a calendar with Yisi as the calendar year compiled by the author when he was young, and this book is the work done by the author when he was young, it was called Yisi Zhan when it was finalized. The existing “Yisi Zhan” is divided into 10 volumes, including Tian Zhan, Sun Zhan, Moon Zhan, Eclipse Zhan, Five-Star Zhan, Moon and Five-Star Lingxian Zhan, Flow, Comet, Guest Star, Miscellaneous, Demon Zhan, Cloud Zhan , Fengzhan, etc., a total of 100 articles. Astrology is a pseudoscience, and ideas such as the interaction between heaven and man, and warnings from heaven are against scientific reality. However, the astrology activities of the ancients prompted people to carefully observe celestial bodies, thus promoting the accumulation of astronomical observation data and the development of astronomy, and made many important inventions and discoveries. For example, a large number of sunspots and prominences, aurora and zodiacal light, the appearance and classification of comets, the observation and record of novas and supernovae, and the occurrence and disappearance of variable stars are recorded in Zhanshu, all of which are of great scientific value. The various astrological horoscopes contained in “Yisi Zhan” do not indicate their origins, which is one of its shortcomings. This shortcoming was corrected in the later “Kaiyuan Zhanjing”.
