Introduction

The art of fortune-telling begins with Yi. The body of Yi is Confucianism, but its application is in the Qimen, and it is scattered as fate and divination, all of which are branches and ears of Qimen. Numerology is divided into two factions, Wuxing and Ziping. The five-star theory of fate is derived from the astrology in Qimen about personnel and affairs, and is deduced. Li Xuzhong of the Tang Dynasty, based on the year, month, day, and time, the ups and downs of the five elements, life and death, to discuss the life and fortune, began to be separated from the Qimen Tuipu, but Nayin Shensha has not left the star method, and the pattern and name are still consistent. Since Xu Ziping of the Five Dynasties came out, it was reformed, focusing on the theory of gasification, focusing on the sun, abandoning the gods and nayin, and exclusively based on the five elements’ restraint, so Ziping’s school flourished.
